Finally has the home she deserves.
Medium-long haired tortoise shell female, spayed & declawed. I'm guessing she's about three years old. She is the most loving and affectionate cat my partner and I have ever met. I can't give her the cuddling and love she deserves because my partner is extremely allergic to cats, so I can only pet her right before showering or scrubbing off really well afterwards. I love this cat, she's soft and gorgeous and wonderful and deserves a good home. She's an ideal indoor cat (as she is declawed). She's vocal but not loud, and will tell you how much she loves you petting her. She'll give you licks of appreciation and can't help but nuzzle her soft head against your hand. She loves being brushed, especially on the head. She'll happily eat dry food and adapts very well to a change in diet. No pet is perfect, she sheds quite a bit and her fine fur can get matted if not brushed regularly. She was litterbox trained at her last home, but after a year of being outside, she may need some reminding as to how to use a litterbox, though if the box is clean, accessable, and out of reach of potential danger(like a dog or other cat), she should do quite well. If you have any experience with litterbox training, getting her to use the appropriate facilities should be fairly painless. She's terrified of dogs and stays on her perch even when the dog is inside. She's somewhat phobic of low places, and should she disappear, you'll likely find her on the top shelf of your closet. I can't vouch for how well she'll get on with other cats, as I've never seen her around one. Halloween is so afraid of the dog that even when he's inside or nowhere nearby, she won't get off her perch unless physically put on the ground, even to use the toilet. This has made her living situation unhealthy for her and unpleasant for eveyrone. She despartely needs a better home. I've never seen her catch so much as a bug. Your birds, fish, and rodents, should you have any, are safe.
Back story: My Roommate's girlfriend left this cat here over 6 months ago. Since then she's been to see her maybe twice, the roommate brings her food but thats it, I'm offering her for adoption with his consent. Halloween was originally an indoor cat, both my partner and the other roommate are allergic to cats, so the she resides on the back porch. Initially the situation was temporary until the owner found a place to live, she found the new place, but the cat remained here, she hasn't seen her in months. I make sure she has food and water and a good brushing when I get the chance, and amazingly, the cat seems to be in excellent health. Seeing this wonderful creature neglected and forgotten breaks my heart. I want to hold and cuddle her and give her a warm place to live, I hope you do, too. |
